Tailor your studies to your specific goals by combining your Bachelor of Social Science with our accredited Bachelor of Laws degree.

The double degree program permits you to multi-skill and offers diverse career paths providing high marketability in multiple areas of expertise.

The Bachelor of Laws provides you with professional legal skills including the ability to analyse legal material and understand fundamental legal principles; an understanding of the relationship between law and society; the skills to analyse and solve non-legal problems and specialised study into the Australian legal system.

You will be encouraged to choose from more than one of the social sciences, to allow for your personal and occupational interests, and to prepare you to extend your studies at the major and sub-major levels.

Law units are available at Campbelltown and Parramatta campuses. Social Science units are available at various campuses (mainly Bankstown and Kingswood), depending on the units chosen.

Anthropology, Child and Community, Criminology and Criminal Justice, Geography and Urban Studies, Heritage and Tourism, Peace and Development Studies, Sociology

Students must have Australian Year 12 Higher School Certificate in or outside Australia; International Baccalaureate in Australia; New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA), Level 3. English language requirements: IELTS (Academic version): 6.5 overall score, minimum 6.0 in each subtest; TOEFL internet-based score: Total score 82, Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50; Successful completion of three years (Gao San) with a minimum score for entry to Second Tier universities in China from the National Entrance Examination (Gao Kao) cut off thresholds for Science and the relevant province, or successful completion of the first year of a Bachelor’s degree at a recognized university.
