Internet law, internet policy, IT and telecoms law are fast-changing areas of legal specialisation that have a large international reach and strong employment prospects. You'll gain the skills and expertise required to become an expert in regulation of the internet and the information economy, with a focused understanding of digital policy in developed and emerging markets. The LLM is completed fully online via part-time study giving you the flexibility to gain a Masters-level qualification while continuing to work.

In this course you: gain a dual-named qualification which is recognised internationally; experience areas of legal specialisation with international reach and strong employment prospects; benefit from part-time online study mode; allows you to choose the title that best reflects your desired sector and country of employment.

Assessment

Your engagement with online discussions amounts to 20 per cent of the class grade. You're expected to contribute at least 200 words to each of the 10 sessions.

You're also required to submit a 1,500-word report in the same format as the final assignment. This is worth 10% of the grade to determine your understanding of the course material. Finally, a written assignment of approximately 4,500 words will be submitted, worth 70% of your grade.

GPA from a four-year undergraduate degree must be: over an average of 70% for 211/985 universities; over an average of 75% for the rest of Chinese universities. IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no individual band less than 5.5).
