**Our unique BEng (Hons) Aircraft Engineering with Pilot Studies degree combines the practical and theoretical aspects of flying with the underlying principles of aircraft engineering.** Flying is an increasingly popular mode of travel and is predicted to grow even further. Gain the skills to design, manage and fly the next generation of aircrafts with our Aircraft Engineering with Pilot Studies degree at Salford. You’ll follow a three-year programme – or four with an industry placement year – which combines mathematics, science, computer-based methods, and design and engineering to solve complex aircraft engineering problems. Gain hands-on experience in our established aeronautical and mechanical facility, featuring a Merlin MP520-T flight simulator and an Elite Flight Training System. Prior to your final year, you will complete a flight test course using the Cranfield National Flying Laboratory.
