Women and gender studies are an interdisciplinary program that provides both social science and humanities perspectives. Explore the contribution women have made to history, politics and society, learn about feminist theories and methods, learn about gender, race and class issues, develop critical reading, writing and thinking skills and learn how to analyze complex social and cultural issues.

English Language Proficiency Requirements: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) - Internet Based: Overall 83; Reading: 20; Listening: 20; Speaking: 20; Writing: 20; IELTS - Academic: Overall Band score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0; CanTest (Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees): Listening 4.5, Reading 4.5, Writing 4.0; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 59, No area with less than 59; CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment): 60; MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery): 85; CELT (Comprehensive English Language Test): 60. GCSE/IGCSE/GCE O' Level English, English Language, or English as a Second Language with a minimum grade of '6' (grade of B prior to 2017) or GCE A/AS/AICE Level English or English Language with a minimum grade of 'C'.
