Are you interested in preventative health and in helping people achieve healthy lifestyles? Through this program you will gain skills that can be targeted to an individual, a community or an organization.

Workplace health promotion is becoming more prevalent as organizations seek to increase awareness of health issues among their employees. Health promotion is also playing an increasingly important role in addressing and maintaining healthy lifestyle choices.

You will learn about issues impacting the health of different populations as well as about key factors in wellness promotion.

Sample Courses:

Advanced Health and Wellness Promotion, Health Promotion for Diverse Populations, Program Delivery and Management.

Career Opportunities:

Graduates pursue careers as health policy analysts, workplace wellness coordinators, community health specialists and health and well-being managers.

Students must have completed High School (Secondary School). English Language Proficiency Requirements: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) - Internet Based: Overall 83; Reading: 20; Listening: 20; Speaking: 20; Writing: 20; IELTS - Academic: Overall Band score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0; CanTest (Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees): Listening 4.5, Reading 4.5, Writing 4.0; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 59, No area with less than 59; CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment): 60; MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery): 85; CELT (Comprehensive English Language Test): 60. GCSE/IGCSE/GCE O' Level English, English Language, or English as a Second Language with a minimum grade of '6' (grade of B prior to 2017) or GCE A/AS/AICE Level English or English Language with a minimum grade of 'C'.
