The Undergraduate Program in Rehabilitation Science (RS) prepares students for graduate education in medicine, occupational therapy, physical therapy, rehabilitation counseling, rehabilitation technology, wellness and human performance, physician assistant studies, prosthetics and orthotics, and other areas of health care.

Curriculum

Students complete the required coursework during their junior and senior years. While enrolled in the Rehabilitation Science program, they must complete a minimum of 30 credits of SHRS coursework, including the core courses and at least one course from each of the core areas. Students must complete 120 cumulative credits to graduate with the BS in Rehabilitation Science degree.

Prospective students who have not earned college credits since graduating from high school with a diploma or GED should consult this section for information on admission to the University of Pittsburgh. For the Pittsburgh campus, a 100 or higher TOEFL composite score with sub scores of 21 or higher is considered competitive, or a 7.0 IELTS with sub scores of 6.0 or higher.
