Nurses are always in demand. If you’re passionate about care giving and thrive in dynamic learning environments then nursing is the place for you. Nurses work with diverse and vulnerable populations in a wide variety of health care settings at home and abroad, such as: schools, hospitals, daycares, long-term care facilities, and community clinics.

The four-year Bachelor of Nursing program comprises a majority of coursework in Nursing, as well as courses from other disciplines, including: English, Biology, and Psychology.

A Bachelor of Nursing from UNB qualifies graduates to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).

UNB nursing graduates have held Canada Research Chair positions, are Majors in the Canadian Armed Forces, Executive Directors in hospitals, have been elected to ministerial government positions, and are leaders within their places of employment, making a difference at the bedside of one patient at a time.

High school students applying to undergraduate programs at the University of New Brunswick. China: Senior Middle Two and Three results as well as a graduation certificate. Students may also be asked to report scores from the National College Entrance Examination grades of 70% or above. International students require the following English language proficiency minimum scores for direct entry into most academic programs: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 85, CAEL 60, or Pearson Vue Test 59.
