The degree programme focuses on multimedia fundamental and computer science concepts, electronic information industry, hypertext and hypermedia concepts, multimedia application in education and training, multimedia application in business and professional fields, multimedia application in games and entertainment, multimedia information retrieval, audio digitizing, and etc. In addition, students will also learn the principles of multimedia design and development life cycle. Students will be exposed to the latest technology and systems by the field trip and during their industrial training to industry. Students also will acquire sufficient knowledge in the field of Multimedia Computing; reaching the level of professionalism, values, attitudes and ethical behavior; achieve social accountability; mastering Multimedia Computing technical skills; mastering communication skills and team works; mastering information management efficiency and ability to lifelong learning; reached critical thinking ability; achieve managerial and entrepreneurial skills; and achieve the leadership values.

Curriculum Structure

The program components consist of university courses, core modules, specialization, specialization electives and free modules. The universities courses consist of 21 credits, the core modules consist of 54 credits, the specialization consist of 24 credits, the specialization electives consist of 12 credits and the free modules consist of 12 credits. Total credits to graduate are 123 credits not include 2 credit co-curriculum courses.
