Majors in medical science will be able to:

Demonstrate and apply systematic understanding of the key elements of medical science fundamentals and occupational safety & health procedures, processes, systems and methodologies.

Assess and analyse issues of occupational safety & health in workplaces and the community using appropriate methods and techniques to provide valid conclusions.

Select and utilize appropriate techniques, resources and modern tools, including information & computer technology, to enhance their practice of occupational safety & health.

Anticipate, recognize and evaluate occupational safety & health issues using evidence based scientific principles to reach substantiated conclusions.
