Explore fascinating new worlds at the microscopic level in microbiology, the study of life too small to see with the naked eye. This program will prepare you for a career in microbiology, in fields ranging from public policy and medical sciences, to renewable energy and pollution control.

This program is designed to provide you with a breadth of knowledge in microbiology as it applies to the environment, health, and industry. It will help you develop a wide range of lab, communication, and critical thinking skills. As a graduate of the program, you’ll be prepared to either begin a career in the food and beverage industry, health sciences, or environmental sciences, or to continue on to graduate school or a professional program in medicine or dentistry.

Applicants must have Gaokao examinations results provided by CQV If you are not writing the Gaokao, you must submit one of the following standardized examination results: SAT, ACT, Advanced Placement exam results, A Levels, or International Baccalaureate Certificates. Equivalent Entry: Huikao or Academic proficiency test results provided by China Qualifications Verification (CQV). Other English language requirements: CAE(Certificate in Advanced English ): Minimum score  of B; CAEL(Canadian Academic English Language assessment): Overall score  of 70; TOEFL Paper-based test with the TWE (Test of Written English): ): Minimum score  of 55 each for Reading, Listening, and Writing (4.0 on TWE); MELAB(Michigan English Language Assessment Battery with the MELAB Oral Interview): 85 final score with 3 in the speaking test; PTE(Pearson Test of English (Academic)): Overall score: 65, Reading: 60, Listening: 60, Writing: 60, Speaking: 60.
