Toronto is the second largest North American financial hub after New York and employs more than 251,000 people in the financial sector.

This four-year honours degree supports your development of key skills for careers in banking, insurance, and investments. With a focus on financial planning and client service expertise.

You will develop your knowledge and understanding of fintech, business law, accounting, financial advice, and financial crime investigation within the financial services.

Seneca is delivering this program in an online format in September 2020.

This program equips you with specialization skills to cater all aspects of banking and insurance sector like product, regulatory, and client service expertise.

Work Experience

Mandatory Degree Co-op

A work experience that includes at least one term in a formal work environment. In most cases the work term(s) is a paid position that is completed between two academic semesters and requires a minimum of 420 hours of work. Students must be in good standing and meet all identified requirements prior to participating in the work experience. The successful completion of the co-op work term(s) is required for graduation. Eligibility for participation does not guarantee that a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for those participating in the mandatory co-op stream regardless of success in securing a work position.

Applicants must have High School graduation transcripts (grades) for Grade 10, 11 & 12 and also include transcripts for if any post-secondary College/University courses or programs completed. Other English language requirements: A minimum TOEFL score of 570 (paper based); PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) score of 60.
