Graduates of the dual-degree program at Saint Louis University earn both a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and a Master of Business Administration (M.A./MBA). The program provides an awareness of the functional relationships between the educational system, business and administrative organizations. The increasing complexity of both educational organizations and non-profit institutions makes understanding business concepts important for students considering careers as administrators in educational institutions.

The M.A. in Educational Leadership can be combined with either the Professional MBA or the One-Year MBA to complete the dual degree. The full-time, One-Year MBA program includes a study abroad component in which students study foreign-based business cases, visit local businesses and attend guest lectures. The Professional MBA is also designed for working professionals and can be completed on a part-time basis in 2-2.5 years on average. Additionally, the class schedules for the educational leadership program accommodate busy working professionals, with many courses in the late afternoon and evening.

Both programs benefit from a large network of alumni in the St. Louis area and beyond. Graduates of these programs have successfully pursued leadership opportunities in schools and school systems, corporations, the non-profit and social service sector, government, and the entrepreneurial space.

Successful applicants should possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00. English Language Proficiency Requirements: Paper-based TOEFL (PBT) 550; Computer-based TOEFL (IBT) 80; International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 6.5; Pearson Test of English (PTE) 54.
