The Bachelor of Nursing (integrated) offers graduates of the Quebec DEC 180.A0 DCS the opportunity to complete a Bachelor's degree in two years. The program builds on the basic collegiate nursing program and prepares students for graduate studies.

Nurses are the heartbeat of health care. Their round-the-clock presence in many settings, keen understanding of health and disease, and sensitivity to patient and family needs ensure safe care and build healthy communities. No other health profession has such varied and far-reaching roles.

The McGill Ingram School of Nursing offers a unique approach to the delivery of care, known as Strengths-Based Nursing. It is a philosophy and a value driven approach that is based on person/family centred care, empowerment, relational care, and innate and acquired healing. We promote health and well-being in people of all ages and across all situations, and our students start clinical placements in their first year and benefit from an extensive network of teaching hospitals and affiliated agencies through the McGill University Health Centre.

The BNI program can be completed in two years if taken full time. The two years include a summer session of 6 weeks between the first and second year. This means there are 5 sessions in the two years.
