Not inspired by traditional undergraduate studies in science? Can't choose a single subject for your career? the Interdisciplinary Science program allow you to study according to your professional and academic abilities and goals.

The program offers a combination of courses in biology, chemistry, computer science, geology, mathematics, and physics. In addition, elective courses deal with ethics, law, the environment, philosophy, religious studies, psychology, and languages.

Enjoy a program that is based more on breadth than on the depth of coverage found in most Science programs.

The program is based more on breadth than on the depth of coverage found in a traditional Bachelor of Science degree. This is the most flexible science degree program at Laurentian and students tailor it to suit their particular career goals. It is geared to students who want to obtain a science related degree but who do not necessarily intend to become working scientists. Students are advised to round out the interdisciplinary science degree by specializing in one area to ensure a well-balanced education.

All secondary school applicants must successfully complete six Grade 12 4U/M courses and receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Applicants who have completed the International Baccalaureate are eligible for admission provided they have achieved a minimum score of 24 and have fulfilled the diploma requirements (six subjects, minimum three at the higher level). Applicants who have achieved a score of 28 or greater may receive transfer credits for higher level courses with grades of 5 or higher. English Language Requirements: Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) - Test Of English as a Foreign Language: 88 overall; Computer-based TOEFL (CBT) - Test Of English as a Foreign Language: 230 overall; IELTS Academic - International English Language Testing System: 6.5 overall No band lower than 6.0; Cambridge Assessment English: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a Cambridge Score of 176 or more; CAEL - Canadian Academic English Language Assessment: 70 overall No part below 60; Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees - CanTEST: 4.5 overall No part below 4; PTE Academic - Pearson Test of English: 60 overall.
