Overview

Our MSc International Business Management with Logistics programme is aimed graduates who have little or no business or management background in their first degree and who wish to gain a broad based business qualification to enhance their future career prospects, or at those looking to develop business management knowledge and skills to allow them to change or further their careers.

This is a conversion MSc

MSc International Business Management with Logistics is a conversion degree programme led by academics from Edinburgh Business School. It introduces the study of business and management to graduates and professionals from non-management backgrounds who wish to enhance their careers.

This degree introduces vital business knowledge to those with limited academic experience in the subject. It provides an opportunity to develop a set of versatile management skills in just one year of study. Coupled with specialist learning in the area of logistics, this programme develops modern management skills to complement existing knowledge and prepare graduates for a career shift or management role.

International Business Management pathways

Our MSc International Business Management with Logistics is one of eight specialist pathways we offer in International Business Management. The programmes cover key issues in international business management including the international business environment as well as the importance of strategy, finance, marketing, and organisational behaviour. You then focus on developing specific knowledge and skills in your chosen pathway subject in preparation for a career in that area.

The international focus of the programme attracts students from all around the world, giving a rich learning environment where international experience and practice is shared.

Students will also achieve PGDip and PGCert awards in this course.

For most of our Masters level programmes we require a good first degree in a relevant subject. Science and Engineering (1st degree classification): 985 University (70%), 211 University (72%), Other Institutions(75%). Other than 1st- 985 University (65%), 211 University (68%), Other Institutions(70%). Business: 985 University (65%), 211 University (68%), Other Institutions(70%). Art and Design: 985 University (65%), 211 University (68%), Other Institutions(70%). Exceptions to the above: For Masters Programmes in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics students are required to have 80% or above. For Masters Programmes in Brewing and Distilling students are required to have 80% or above. For Masters Programmes in Photonics, students are required to have 75% or above. Students require IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each element or an acceptable equivalent.
