Programme Features

A non-government-funded honours undergraduate programme.
A full-time day programme normally completed in two years.
Equips students with the academic knowledge and advanced practical skills for marketing in various fields such as marketing management, marketing research and advertising, with a special focus on social entrepreneurship and digital marketing in an international context.

Programme Structure

This four-year undergraduate programme requires students to complete a total of 128 units, including 39 units of Major Core Courses, 21 units of Major Required Courses, 30 units of Major Elective Courses and 38 units of General Education courses.

Students with AD/HD qualifications will normally be admitted directly into the third year of study to complete the 66-unit programme in two years. In this connection, students are required to complete 15 units of Major Core Courses, 21 units of Major Required Courses as well as 30 units of Major Elective Courses.

Professional Recognition

Students would be exempt from one module and only have to pass two of the remaining modules to gain a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification at either level 4 and/or level 6, the Certificate in Professional Marketing and the Diploma in Professional Marketing respectively.

Applicants NOT attending the current year National Joint College Entrance Examination (JEE) of the Mainland should possess one of the following qualifications: National Joint College Entrance Examination (JEE) results attained in previous years: Meeting the 1st cut-off line of the respective province for admission to mainland key universities JEE for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Students. Recognised English Language Qualifications: Obtaining a score of 110 or above in the English subject of National Joint College Entrance Examination (JEE) or an alternative. Applicants who apply for admission with overseas qualifications are expected to have received 12-year pre-university education with appropriate school-leaving qualifications. The following public examination results are recognized as meeting the English Language requirements stipulated by the University: TOEFL: Internet-based test (iBT) - Score: 79; or Paper-based test (PBT) - Score: 550; IELTS Academic: Overall Band 6.0; IGCSE First Language English: Grade C/ Grade 4; IGCSE English as a Second Language: Grade B/ Grade 5; IB: Grade 4 in: IB English a (Higher or Standard Level); or IB English B (Higher Level); or IB English Literature and Performance (Standard Level) OR Grade 5 in: IB English B (Standard Level).
