This major is offered online.

Note: Progression through this major is dependent upon satisfying the admission criteria for the Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (3327).

Students must complete the following courses:

• Child Development, Families and Communities - 7206EDN (see Note 1)
• History and Philosophy of Early Childhood - 7194EDN (see Note 1)
• Curriculum and Pedagogy in the Early Years - 7191EDN
• Professional Experience and Practice Early Childhood Education and Care - 7784EDN

Note 1: Students must successfully complete 7206EDN and 7194EDN before enrolling in 7191EDN and 7784EDN.

Exit point: Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (3327). Students with 40 credit points of advanced standing can exit by applying for a program transfer after successfully completing the 40 credit point Early Childhood Education and Care major.
