The final year BSc (Hons) Business Information Systems is specifically designed to provide students with a sound theoretical and practical knowledge of all the key business-related areas whether you are interested in working for someone else or starting your own business. Combining the best of both worlds, this program will equip you with cutting edge business management skills as well as information technology support to manage any business.

Programme Objective

To provide a comprehensive and balanced programme of business and computing knowledge and skills required for business in the information age

To develop well educated and skilled people who understand the managerial and strategic issues associated with implementing information systems;

To provide a relevant and flexible study in the field of Business Information Management;

To develop student’s ability to work independently.

To provide students with the ability to synthesize knowledge, understanding and practical skills in a vocational context. To provide students with the analytical and evaluative skills commensurate with degree level higher education. That is, to develop students’ intellectual and imaginative powers, their understanding and judgment; their problem-solving skills; their ability to communicate; their ability to see relationships within what they have learned and to perceive their study of business information systems in a broader perspective.
