DSU marketing students are not just great marketers. They're also leaders. Our marketing majors combine the creative aspects of marketing with solid business processes. In your studies, you will develop marketing plans, create promotional campaigns for actual businesses, and work with other students on a variety of creative projects.

We integrate existing and new technologies into our traditional marketing coursework. You’ll be prepared for a career that embraces the latest marketing techniques and innovations, including Big Data, Digital Marketing, and of course, Social Media. Whether it’s planning and implementing a marketing or promotional campaign, conducting analytical Marketing research, or creating a sales approach; you’ll learn the best-practices of Marketing – infused with a good dose of innovation.

Integrated technology

You’ll learn customer-facing technologies that will help you promote products like:

• Creation and use of webinars for promotional purposes

• Use of social media across multiple platforms for promotional and customer relationship management purposes

Accreditation

Our bachelor of business administration program is one of the few in South Dakota accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). This means that in addition to meeting all evaluation criteria and curriculum standards, DSU is also involved in the creation of innovative programs. This additional accreditation means your degree will be recognized wherever you go.
