The Cleveland Marshall Juris Doctor is a rigorous program designed to create professionally prepared new lawyers with superior critical and analytical thinking and writing skills. The curriculum at CSU Cleveland-Marshall provides students a breadth and depth of legal study beginning with the traditional foundational courses (Civil Procedure, Contracts, Criminal Law, Legal Writing, Property and Torts) and expanding in upper level courses to classes in Constitutional Law, Tax, Intellectual Property, Alternative Dispute Resolution, International Law, Corporations, just to name a few, as well as Clinics in Appellate Practice, Community Advocacy, Transactional Law, Civil Litigation, and pop up practicums that provide short term, hands-on experience in timely legal issues. CSU C|M|LAW also offers a broad slate of externships in state and federal courts and government and public interest offices.
