These programs focus on grades seven to twelve, with an emphasis on secondary school.

If you wish to teach Health and Physical Education at the Intermediate/Senior level, this is the program for you. In six years, you will complete all of the courses required to receive an Honours Bachelor of Physical Education as well as a Bachelor of Education. You’ll combine your major in Physical Education with a second teachable subject of interest and continue to take education-related courses throughout the program. Opportunities for field experiences begin in your second year and continue throughout the program.

You will choose your second teachable subject area from one of the following: Dramatic Arts, English, French, Geography, History, Mathematics, Health and Physical Education, Science - Biology, Science - Chemistry, Science - General, Science - Physics or Visual Arts.

Successful graduates of each program will be recommended to the Ontario College of Teachers for an Ontario Certificate of Qualification and Registration.

This program is also offered by Faculty of Humanities, and Faculty of Mathematics and Science.

Applicants must have Senior Secondary school credential appropriate for entry to university in your home country; academically rigorous grade 12 year; Minimum B- average (higher for some programs). Applicants who have successfully completed the IB diploma with the appropriate prerequisite subjects will be considered for admission. Students must have completed a (Grade 12) Senior High School Graduation Certificate (3 Years) plus final transcript showing Grade 12 first and second term grades. English proficiency requirements: IELTS - overall 6.5, no band below 6.0, TOEFL - overall 88, with minimum 21 on speaking and 21 on writing, MELAB - overall 85, no other part under 80, CAEL - overall 70, no other band score under 60, IELP Level 5 - Successful completion of Level 5 of the Brock Intensive English Language program.
